The Water Table

I forgot about the water table I had hiding in the garage! It is starting to get hot again, so I decided to drag that thing out. Tyler and Grayson LOVE it. They splash and get soaked. Here are a few pics of what Grayson likes to do with the table. This is actually after the dunking of the head...
I think he was trying to drink the water. Maybe I should have offered a drink?!

My two random kids. Grayson dunking his head and Tyler trying to kill an ant. As you can see his playhouse is pretty full. He cleaned the patio for me, without me asking, and stuffed all of his toys in the house. Literally stuffed, they couldn't have gotten in if they wanted to!

Art project, thanks to Bethany!!!

This past weekend, we took a trip down to Bellaire. A trip, that is funny, but really it took us a hour to get home! Crazy traffic!

Anyways...we went to see our good friends the Wolfs. We have missed them so much and I wish we lived closer to them. I was doing the math when I was putting down Grayson today. (What else am I suppose to think about??) We have been friends with them for 12 years. That is crazy! While I was there I kept asking Bethany about all these cute items I would find throughout her house. Her response was always "oh, I made that". Like it was no big deal. I could list everything, but I'm not. She really inspires me. Not only is she a great relaxed mommy, but a darn good crafty person. I should mention that her hubby, Mike, can make anything and everything as well! They are amazing!

She is having baby Ella on Friday and she made these cute framed letters that spelled out her name. I asked her where she got them, and you already know my answer. My chin dropped because they were so darn cute.

The boys and I went out today and bought the supplies that were needed. After everything said and done, it only cost $22. That is my kind of project! All you need is cute scrap book paper, a backless frame, a wood letter and some wood paint. Oh and some cardboard for the paper and letter to go on. That was it! (Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite stores. Everyone knows every other week the items you want will be 50% off)

The final product. I think they turned out pretty cute. I will say though, there are way more girl paper to choose from then boy paper.
Now if only I had a sew machine and knew how to sew........

Aunt Kisti...

Aunt Kristi came to visit and boy did Tyler have her busy. Saturday morning I woke up and within five minutes I find Aunt Kristi and Tyler in his fort. I tried to tell her she didn't have to go out there, but she insisted. What a good Aunt she is! We just wished she lived a bit closer....like in Humble, Tx :) I had to post this pic. AGAIN, Tyler is having a hard to grasping the concept of smiling. What the heck....haha

T-ball Time

This past game Aunt Jennifer and Brandon came out to cheer on Tyler. Then after the game, he went and spent the night at their house for the night. Mark and I just had Grayson and wow, what a difference just having one child around. BUT, I missed my monster so much and was so happy when Sunday rolled around and he came home. Here are some updated pics from the game. Look at that STRIDE!!! Yep, he runs pretty well. I wonder where he gets that from ;)Aunt Jennifer trying to keep him on task. The attention span for 3 year old playing t-ball is give and take....10 minutes.

Lunch date with Reagan

Today the boys and I went to meet Melanie and Reagan at a huge park in Jersey Village. It really was a perfect little lunch date. The kids played, Grayson enjoyed himself and the mommies got to talk! Tyler decided to put Reagan in time-out for no reason. The funny part is that Reagan listened to him and sat down!Grayson had a great time playing in mulch and trying to climb up the slide.

I should have put the slide picture first but this was so funny. This slide had a huge drop off. It wasn't a slow slide either, the kids would come down fast and fly off. Tyler was flying off the slide while holding tighly to the bubbles. The bubbles ended up landing in his hair. He didn't care, he got up and started marching on again!!!

I asked the kids, very nicely, to turn around so that I could take their picture. Reagan kindly said nope and folded her arms. Tyler thought that was a perfect answer and they walked off. I had no come back!

Grayson was not a fan of the sand. I thought he would like it, but he didn't want anything to do with it. Thanks for the fun lunch date Melanie and Reagan!

Bunny Time

This Easter was a bit different. We were planning on going to church that morning and have a fun filled day. The day before we found out that both boys had Hand, Foot and Mouth disease. Which for Tyler, wasn't bad but Grayon....that's a different story. Poor kid, for almost a week he was cranky and in pain. Luckily we are on the ups and doing much better. Here are a few pictures I could squeeze in. The only thing that would make Grayson some what happy was his dad's I-phone. Mark turned on the music, and Grayson would dance.

Overall, Easter was great. Tyler was really involved dying the eggs and doing his fake smile. What is up with that. I guess they go through a stage of not knowing how to smile!

The Swann boys LOVE the Pustejovsky girls

I don't know what it is with these girls, but my boys love them. It has to be their beautiful blue eyes and the fact that Claire doesn't back down to Tyler. Love it! After pizza night with the mommies, Claire and Tyler decided to play Doctor. Grayson leaning in to give Paige a nice fat kiss. Don't worry Dave, he didn't do it. We stopped it :) But look at her, she is gazing into his eyes!

Popcicles....

Grayson was finally introduced to popcicles this week. Why didn't I think of this earlier when his throat was hurting, who knows. Felt good on his 5 teeth coming in...yes five! Three molars in that mix! Grayson having a tough few weeks!
