Mack Daddy...

Tyler was just having one of those days. He has been waking up around 6-6:30 every morning, yay. Well, that is probably due to me though, I let him nap for 2 hours a day.

Anyways, he just kept whining and complaining about everything. So, finally while I was cooking I said enough. I told him to go grab a book and read it. He loved the idea and was so excited to sit on the couch and finger point to the words while reading. I walked over to the couch and found this....nice choice of book...Mack Daddy...really?! haha

Miss. Ella Grace Wolf

My family took the kiddos the other weekend, so Mark and I got a chance to go meet little Ella Wolf. She is adorable, if you can't tell from the pics. I think Mike and Bethany make some cute lil babies...maybe they should keep making some cute lil babies!!

It was nice to sit and chat and not having to worry about Tyler wanting to hold and kiss the baby every five minutes. Or Grayson getting into whatever he can get his hands on. My favorite, Tyler opening and shutting their sliding back door. I swear, my kid thinks that is the coolest thing ever!

We come in peace....

I will be the first one to admit, I spoil our kids. BUT, that doesn't mean when we go to any store, he gets to pick out any toy he wants. There is a dollar limit for sure. However yesterday, I broke that limit.

We went to Walmart to pick up diapers...repeat...to pick up DIAPERS! Well, it all started when we walked by the toy section. Tyler has become obsessed with Buz Light Year, Star Commander and the Toy Story 1 movie. I bought him a plush buzz and the book from Kohl's and that is what really started this whole craziness. Then daddy bought him the movie that evening.

Anyways, we are walking past the toy section and he sees Buzz. Not just Buzz, the real Buzz. He isn't plush and squeeze able. He is....from the movie BUZZ and he talks. Tyler's eyes got so big as he walked up the the end cap where they were all sitting. My eyes wondered to the price $34.99! Ouch, for a toy! All I saw was a huge smile on my kids face, eyes wide and him shouting "MOM! I can get it, no problem!" At this point I usually do a good job reasoning with him. That didn't happen, he grabbed the big box and started walking.

" I can hold it mom, no problem. Look it talks...hehe (him laughing). WOW!"

He is doing this as we are walking down to the baby section. All the way down the aisle, it's a looooong aisle. Everyone, I mean everyone, is stopping and looking at him and telling me how cute he is. REALLY, not helping people! As we are walking back, I tried to ask him to put it back because we didn't need it now. Offered him the movie instead and that didn't work. I could tell if I was to make him actually put it back, a HUGE tantrum was going to happen. We have never had a tantrum in a store, and I really wasn't in the mood for one that day. I told him we could get it and he started to beam even more. He seriously stopped every couple of feet and would push a button for Buzz to talk. It really was precious watching him bending down, smiling and laughing.

As we were walking out of the store with receipt in hand, Tyler yells out to the greeter "We come in peace..." My face lit up and I was so happy for my kid. He was so happy, so happy. Now I just had to get home and tell his dad why I spent that money on a toy.

Here are some pics of Buzz and Tyler. I made him smile like how he smiled when he first saw the toy. Here it is:

We take Buzz everywhere. Bathroom, breakfast table, errands and he even sleeps in Tyler's room in a made up bed for him!!! Money well spent!

P. S. He didn't eat his breakfast this morning, but he did make sure Buzz had a few pieces!

Happy Mother's Day

We really didn't have anything special planned on Mother's Day besides spending the day with each other. I didn't get breakfast in bed, BUT I did get McDonald's at the kitchen table. Mark tried his best to let me sleep in, but we have a kiddo that loves him some mommy! Tyler couldn't resist coming in the room once, okay twice....maybe three times, who is counting!

When I got up, Mark had two presents sitting out for me. He does know how to spoil me for sure. However, I really got a kick out of the cards. Sometimes he can get a bit creative! Here is the card from Grayson. Tyler actually told me once Grayson gets older, he too will have hair like that (speaking about the card). Love my baldy baby. The one from Tyler....nuff said

For the rest of the day, we just hung out in the backyard. It was actually the perfect weather; a bit overcast and cool.

By George, SHE DID IT!!!!

Congratulations Shelley!!!!
Went to a graduation, my sister's graduation that is! I am so happy and proud of her. She might be in her 30's, but she finished school and is now a medical assistant. You know, the people that gives you shots in the butt at the doctor's office!
